Welcome to
Idaho Bass Anglers
Idaho Bass Anglers is a bass fishing club affiliated with The Bass Federation, Inc, FLW Outdoors and The Idaho Bass Federation. The club was formed in 2007 by 12 experienced bass anglers desiring to share their experiences with among themselves and other anglers wishing to learn the methods commonly used to catch one of the wiliest fresh water fish in America.
The club conducts seven to eight club tournaments each year on waters near the Boise metropolitan area. Club tournaments have low entry fees and the past several years have shown tournament winnings paid out to nearly every club member.
Monthly meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at Pizza Hut on 10th Avenue in Caldwell beginning at 7 PM. These meetings encourage anglers to share recent experiences on local waters and those who did well in recent tournaments are required to disclose their methods and locations of their tournament catch.
Families are a large part of the club competing among themselves as well as other club members. This allows for valuable family time in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and in many cases older members are sound mentors for young people learning to fish. The club and its members are strong supporters of Reel Kids casting events, Catch A Special Thrill (C.A.S.T.) and the Scales of Justice Tournament. Members also participate in various conservation projects that are aimed at assisting the growth of all fish species in area waters.
If you have an interest in fishing for bass, wish to experience a tournament first hand or simply want to find out how it all works we encourage you to attend a club meeting, get to know our members and try fishing with us.
YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO HAVE A BOAT TO BE A MEMBER OF IDAHO BASS ANGLERS.
